Announcement

The NAACC will become the National Aquatic Connectivity Collaborative (NACC)

Beginning in Fall of 2026, the NAACC will be merging into a national program under the National Fish Habitat Partnership (NFHP). The NAACC will become the National Aquatic Connectivity Collaborative (NACC) and encompass field data collection at crossings, dams, and waterfalls, as well as the National Aquatic Barrier Inventory and Prioritization Tool, all available at aquaticbarriers.org. Once the national program is in place, you will be able to go to aquaticbarrier.org to find a new online training platform (replacing OWL), a new NACC data center, and updated data collection applications.

The Stream Continuity Portal

This aquatic connectivity portal is a one-stop shop for tools and regional collaboratives focused on aquatic organism passage (“fish passage”) and fragmentation of river and stream ecosystems. It is a starting place for stakeholders, users, and tool developers looking to keep track of the latest initiatives and better identify opportunities for collaboration and action. This portal is maintained by the North Atlantic Aquatic Connectivity Collaborative (NAACC). More coming soon!
